Brief Details:Regional forum meeting where managers, e-guides and senior practitioners can meet and learn about the latest e-learning developments at national and regional level.
Information:There will be an opportunity for delegates to share news and examples of good practice from their own organisations. This particular forum meeting will have a focus on effective use of media to support learning and teaching.

Please take a memory stick if your organisation does not have one already. All of the applications on the stick are freely downloadable from the link above.

    Moodle and Xerte on a Stick

    Xerte is a free tool which makes it easy to create presentations and learning objects that are highly accessible. These can be easily uploaded into Moodle or other VLE. Xerte helps you focus on interactive design by providing tools that are fit for purpose and easy to use. More information is available on the Techdis site:

    Xerte is freely downloadable. We will be making copies of MAXOS (Moodle And Xerte On a Stick) freely available on the day.

    There will be an opportunity to try a selection of technologies to, for example, create a podcast, tag video footage, create discussion based activities from images, use of mobile micro-blogging for reflective practice, using flickr to create labelled images, locating and downloading video and so on.
