Presentations by Miles Metcalfe and Alistair McNaught plus Templates from Tim Morgan and useful links available in associated files and links area below.

This event is ideal for those who have an interest in creating digital media for learning & teaching and offers you a keynote from Miles Metcalfe, Ravensbourne College of Design & Communication plus show & tell sessions from the London region and workshops by The University of Hull and JISC TechDis. Hands-on activities include exploring digital media resources with a focus on NewsFilm Online and also creating content using a recently launched learning object design tool, Xerte.
Information:JISC Regional Support Centres Eastern and London have collaborated to offer this event free of charge and a maximum of 2 places will be confirmed per organisation for supported providers from each region on a first come first served basis so we encourage you to book early. As places are limited and to avoid wasted places, a non-attendance fee of £50 applies if our booking & cancellation terms are not met (including substitutions).
Target Audience: The event is aimed primarily at teaching staff or learning technologists in Further & Higher Education.

    Show & Tell - Barking College

    Tim Morgan is an eLearning developer at Barking College. He will be introducing the Barking College eLearning templates which allow staff to create their own resources in minutes rather than hours. They are simple to edit and easy to use and the various versions available allow you to work with images, text and audio.

    These are the product of collaboration between tutors and the Content Workshop eLearning team at Barking College. These resources are provided free of charge for educational use.

    University of Nottingham developed a free learning object editor – Xerte - that produces interactive, rich media learning objects that run in a Flash player.
